Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Sandwiches Ingredients
This ingredient list is going to be a very short one. There aren’t many things you will need because the beef will come pre-marinated. The first and most important ingredient is the Cabernet beef pot roast from Trader Joe’s.
You could use any pre-marinated beef pot roast you like. This one just so happens to be one of our favorites. Ciabatta rolls make for great sandwiches but you could also use any type of bread you prefer as well.
The last thing you will need will help you build the sandwich when the beef is ready. Swiss cheese slices and a yellow onion is all it takes. You’re almost ready for one of the best slow cooker shredded beef sandwiches you have ever made.
Directions
Sear pot roast in a cast iron pan on all sides.
Cook pot roast in a crockpot on high for 6 hours or on low for 12 hours.
Slice the onion. Add olive oil to a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and add toss in the onions to coat them evenly.
Cook the onions for 20-25 minutes or until the onions are soft and caramelized.
Slice the rolls in half and add a pile of shredded beef, caramelized onions, and a couple of slices of swiss cheese.
You could add condiments if you’d like at this point. Enjoy!

- 4 La Brea Chiabatta Rolls (Or bread of your choice)
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Yellow Onion, Sliced
- 1 Lb Swiss Cheese, Sliced
Instructions
