Spicy Chicken Bowl Ingredients
Chicken Breast | The star of the dish is going to be the chicken. Chicken breasts are far easier to work with, but you could change things up and use chicken thighs if you’d like.
Just be sure to adjust the seasonings and sauces to fit the amount of chicken you have on hand.
House of Tsang Bangkok Peanut Dipping Sauce | This ingredient will give the dish all its flavors. The spiciness and the peanut flavor all come from this sauce. If you haven’t used it before, give it a taste so you know how much you can handle, especially if you’re not a fan of too much spice.
Chicken Bone Broth | This chicken bone broth is necessary for chicken in a slow cooker. The meat will use the chicken broth to gain more moisture, and the results will be juicy.
You will want a little extra on hand to make the rice. Rice in a chicken broth is far better than just water.
Spinach | Fresh or frozen? The choice is yours; however, we used fresh organic spinach in this recipe. The spinach adds more flavor to the dish and a lot more nutrients. Healthy dinner, anyone?
Jasmine Rice | Jasmine rice will be cooked separately. We don’t want the chicken broth in the crockpot to make the rice too mushy. But you can easily toss some rice together in a rice cooker or on the stovetop if necessary.
