The possibilities are endless with this recipe, but the ingredients list is short and sweet. All you need are some medium sized apples, water, cinnamon, and a sweetener. We use monk fruit sweetener to make these apples a healthier dessert option.

But you can use any sort of sweetener you like. That’s it. This is all you need to make the best cinnamon apples dessert in an Instant Pot. Of course, you may want to get creative with the apples afterward. But this is all you will need for the cinnamon apples.

Directions

Peel, core and cut the apples into wedges.

Add all the ingredients to your Instant Pot and stir gently to coat the apples with the cinnamon and sweetener.

Place the lid on the Instant Pot and lock. 

Set the Instant Pot to manually cook for 3 minutes.

Once cooking time is complete, use the handle of a wooden spoon or spatula to unlock the release valve (quick release). 

Once the steam has stopped, open the Instant Pot, and stir the apples one more time. 

Cool or serve warm.

  • 6 Apples, Medium-Sized (Use 4 if Large)

  • 2 1/2 Tbsp Water

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp Monk Fruit Sweetener (Or Sweetener of Your Choice)
