  • Large Organic Heirloom Tomatoes: Using fresh, ripe tomatoes here will forgive the canned option from above. The acidity of tomatoes will help everything come together perfectly.
  • Fresh Jalapenos: A fresh jalapeño is optional. However, we do want some peppers, so there is some heat. We aren’t adding serrano peppers or dried chiles. Use as recommended the first time and adjust from there.

  • Green Pepper: Green peppers won’t add spice at all. Instead, these peppers are added to the salsa for flavor and texture.
  • Garlic: We can’t talk about adding flavor without talking about adding garlic. We will also be adding some common seasonings from Mexican food for flavor.
  • Cumin: We want to add some earthiness to the dish, and cumin will get that done in this easy salsa without onions recipe.

  2. Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours on high until tender.
  3. Spoon or pour Ingredients into a food processor or Vitamix and blend until desired consistency.
  4. Add lime and cilantro and stir.
  5. The salsa can be served with chips or canned for future use.

  • 5 Medium to Large Organic Heirloom Tomatoes (Chopped)
  • 2 Fresh Jalapeños (Chopped with Seeds) Option to Remove Seeds for Less Heat
  • 1 Organic Green Pepper (Seeds Remove and Chopped)
  • 1 Clove Garlic (Chopped)
  • 1/4 TSP Cumin
  • 1/2 TSP Chili Powder
  • Salt u0026 Pepper to Taste
  • 2 TBSP Lime Juice
  • 2 TBSP White Vinegar
