Crockpot Pork Chops Ingredients
- Bone-in Thick-Cut Pork Chops | We use bone-in pork chops because there is more flavor there. You could use boneless pork chips if you’d like; however, you will need to adjust the cooking time.
- Olive Oil | We do need to brown the pork chops before we toss them into the crockpot. We will be using the olive oil for this step. It takes a little prep time, but not much at all.
- Paprika | We can’t plate pork chops that have been cooked without some seasoning. Paprika is the first addition.
- Onion Powder | Every home cook knows that onion powder is mandatory in almost any meat recipe. The flavor it pulls from the meat is what we’re after.
- Garlic Powder | Another common seasoning is garlic powder. We don’t need to mince any fresh garlic, just the seasoning.
- Sliced Cremini Mushrooms | You could also use whole mushrooms or a mix of whole and sliced for different textures.
- Cream of Mushroom Soup | The soup is where the magic happens in this crockpot pork chops with cream of mushroom soup recipe.
- Cream of Chicken Soup | We have the mushroom soup, but the chicken soup adds more gravy, more creaminess, and even more flavor.
- Beef Broth | We use beef broth because it emboldens the flavor. Of course, a great option would be to use chicken broth for a lighter flavor.
- Dried Parsley | Dried parsley is a versatile seasoning that adds a lot of flavor with minimal effort. It adds some freshness to the delicious sauce.
- Onion | Fresh onions take this easy crock pot pork chops recipe to the next level. You can slice or even dice them, whichever you prefer.
- Baby Red Potatoes | Make this recipe a complete meal with the help of a built-in side dish.
