Crockpot Pulled Pork Tacos Recipe

- 3-4 Pounds Boneless Pork Shoulder
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Tortillas (Corn or Flour)
- Avocado
- Pickled Onions
- Salsa
- Fresh Jalapenos
- Cilantro
- Lime
Spice Rub
- 3 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Tsp Cumin
- 1 Tsp Cayenne
- 1/2 Tsp Oregano
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
Rinse pork shoulder with cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut pork shoulder into large pieces (approximately 1” pieces)
In a large gallon baggie add spice rub mix and combine.
Add pork shoulder pieces, seal baggie and make sure all pieces are coated with spices.
Add 2 tablespoons olive oil to cast iron skillet or pan. Once the skillet is hot add the pork shoulder pieces and brown all sides making sure to rotate until all sides are brown but not cooked all the way through.
After you brown all pieces you can add directly to the crockpot including any liquid from cast iron skillet or pan. If dry add a little olive oil to crock pot.
Cool on high 4-5 hours or low 7-8.
When pork is finished remove and shred with two forks or you can serve as is.
