Instant Pot Goulash Recipe with Beef

Our Instant Pot goulash recipe with beef takes a family favorite recipe and makes it easier to make while bringing out rich and delicious flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion
  • 2 Tsp Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Lb Macaroni Pasta
  • 2 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese
  • Chopped Parsley (Optional)
  • Salt u0026 Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  • Turn Instant pot to sauté mode. Add olive oil, ground beef and chopped onion and sauté until meat is brown.
  • Add garlic, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, paprika and salt and pepper. Stir until combined for about 2 minutes.
  • Turn off sauté mode and add diced tomatoes u0026 tomato sauce and stir to combine.
  • Next add macaroni pasta and beef broth and do not stir. Make sure the macaroni is covered with liquid. You may add a little water if needed but only to the top of the pasta.
  • Place the lid on the instant pot and make sure the valve is sealed.
  • Press the pressure cook button and set to high for 5 minutes. The instant pot will take about 15 minutes to come to pressure and then it will cook for 5 minutes.
  • Do a quick release with the pressure valve at the top with a spoon. Make sure pressure is released and then open the lid.
  • Stir in cheese and garnish with parsley if preferred. Enjoy!

Notes

u003cliu003eOptional additions to the dish could be frozen corn or bell peppers. Rinse and drain the vegetables before adding. These additional options can be added at the same time as the diced tomatoes.u003c/liu003e
